Spend the night in the Houston Museum of Natural Science!

Please come and join your fellow scouts for an overnight adventure immersed in science and learning fun!

Where:  Houston Museum of Natural Science (5555 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX 77030)  (approx. 2 hours and 56 minutes)
When: Saturday, January 27th – Sunday, January 28th, Arrival at 6pm 
Time: 6 pm Arrival on Saturday and then you can stay and enjoy the museum all Sunday!
Cost: $100 per camper (This entire fee goes to the Museum). This cost includes a ticket to the museum the next day.
The overnight stay includes:

  • Pizza Dinner
  • Hands-on activity with museum educators
  • Photo scavenger hunt in one of our exhibit halls
  • Evening snack
  • Private showing in the Burke Baker Planetarium
  • Sleeping in one of our world-renowned exhibit halls
  • Continental breakfast
  • Commemorative overnight patch
  • Parking in the HMNS garage
  • Admission to the museum’s permanent exhibit halls the day after your overnight adventure

Deadline to Sign-up is Thurs, Jan 4, 2024 at 8pm. Camping slots are limited to 40 so please RSVP now if you want to attend, if you need to wait a little to pay that’s ok, just let us know.

** Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Please note that 5 years and under are not allowed by the Museum’s rules.

What To Bring: Each person must bring a pillow, sleeping bag, toiletries, towel and flashlight. You might want to bring eye masks and ear plugs for all your party.
