Mission of Scouting

The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law, and this begins in Cub Scouts. Our motto is : Do Your Best! It means growing and aspiring to be better as we face life’s challenges.

There are four aims of Scouting: citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership.

Age-Based Activities and Challenges

In Cub Scouting, kids go through different age-based ranks (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos). Each rank challenges youth to complete Adventures tailored to their specific age group, completing activities with other kids their age, experiencing a new set of challenges each year. They also have opportunities to have fun alongside older and younger Scouts. This happens in packs and dens.

Our Scouts have fun, make friends and experience adventures while building character, improving physical fitness, and developing a spirit of community service.

Pack 90’s Program is a Family Program which means:
  • Cub Scouts is a volunteer-led, family experience that utilizes the talents and experience of the local community.
  • All family members are invited to participate.
Outdoor Activities
  • Cub Scouting is more than meetings! You can’t spell “Scouting” without “outing”!
  • Typical monthly activities can include: Campouts and hikes, Field trips, Family activities, and Community Service

If the below fees represent a hardship for you or your Scout, please reach out to austinpack90@gmail.com – We want every Scout to be able to participate and can provide financial assistance.
