Our trip\u00a0on Saturday\u00a0is to the Lazy L&L Campground in New Braunfels on the banks of the Guadalupe River (http:\/\/www.lazylandl.com\/index.php<\/wbr><\/a>).\u00a0 The river should be pretty exciting to look at after all this rain, but we won’t be able to do any tubing or boating.\u00a0 Scouting rules prohibit us from taking cub scouts on boats.\u00a0 Sorry, everyone.\u00a0 Also, everyone needs to keep a close eye on his scout during this trip since we will be camping near a pretty active river.\u00a0 We’ll discuss the buddy system early and often.<\/p>\n

If anyone wants to fish, you should have the opportunity to do that.\u00a0 Please remember that any child under 17 can fish without a fishing license, but any dads that want to fish need to have a license.<\/p>\n

The weather will be pretty cool in the morning\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0(low 50s), so be prepared with warm clothes and layers.\u00a0 Sleeping bags are highly encouraged.\u00a0 If anyone needs camping gear, please contact me so we can find what you need.<\/p>\n

3:30 – 4:00\u00a0Free time\/explore the park<\/p>\n

3:30 – 4:30\u00a0First activity — sports of some kind, probably.\u00a0 Maybe kickball<\/p><\/div>\n
