When you sign your child up for Cub Scouts, they\u2019ll benefit from these four key character-building attributes while having a great time and meeting new friends:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Mission of Scouting<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    The\u00a0mission of the Boy Scouts\u00a0of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout\u00a0Oath and Law, and this begins in Cub Scouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are four aims of Scouting: citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Age-Based Activities and Challenges<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    In Cub Scouting, kids go through different age-based ranks (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos). Each rank challenges youth to complete milestones tailored to their specific age group, completing activities with other kids their age, experiencing a new set of challenges each year. They also have opportunities to have fun\u00a0alongside older and younger Scouts. This happens in packs and dens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our Scouts have fun, make friends and experience adventures while building character, improving physical fitness, and developing a spirit of community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
