Epic Water Fun with Pack 90 – This Sat., June 15, 3-5pm
Join Pack 90 Cub Scouts THIS Sat., June 15th from 3-5pm at 4606 Adelphi Lane for An Epic Water Gun & Water Slide Party & Raingutter Regatta! RSVP HERE if you get the chance.
You will need to wear a swimsuit, hat, sunscreen and closed toe shoes or water shoes. Bring a towel, water bottle to drink and a water gun or two if you have a favorite or use some already here. (But NO water balloons because we don’t want to have to pick them up).
For the Recycled Raingutter Regatta, simply make your boat with any recycled materials and bring it with you or we will have a small supply of things for day of attempts.
Adults may want to bring a chair.
PLEASE share this to anyone you know with a rising Kinder thru 5th Grade Boy or Girl who wants to learn more about scouting, as all are welcome to come.
Suggested Boat Specs:
The following specs are suggested, mainly so that they will fit in the rain gutters and won’t tip. Length – The finished boat must be no longer than 8″ max.
Width – The finished boat must be less than 3-1/2″ wide. Any outriggers must fit within the overall width of 3-1/2”
Depth – The gutters are 3” deep, so your boat must float and fit accordingly. Keels and dagger-boards are acceptable just make sure they won’t drag the bottom.
Mast Height – the mast may not be higher than 7” from the deck. The “deck” is the flat part of the boat, where the mast is attached. Multiple masts on a single boat are allowed.
